If you want to get out of the mainstream tourism in vietnam (high mass) or backpack with lots of surprises in Asia for non-adventurous, go from house to house, from hotel into a hotel and make a lot of miles, to actually see almost the same things, with all the problems transportation, communication with people who will not see you in that as in all euro countries tourist.
